The management decided to end cooperation with the roster, and the IEM Global Challenge 2020 will be the last tournament for the Brazilians in which they will play under the banner of Chaos.
In addition, Chaos Esports Club will also leave R6: Siege. At the moment, they have not shared their plans for the future. NiP recently reported that they are leaving Dota 2 due to financial difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Now Chaos wants to focus on content creators and move away from the usual maintenance of esports rosters.
Chaos Esports Club acquired a CS: GO roster in 2018. Since then, the team has achieved several victories. The biggest of them are triumphs at ESEA Season 34: Premier Division - North America and Intel Extreme Masters XV - Beijing Online: North America.
Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge 2020 is set to take place online from December 15 to December 20. Eight teams will compete for the main reward of $ 200,000 and 3,000 BLAST Premier rating points. The total prize pool will be $ 500,000. In addition to Chaos Esports Club, Heroic, Team Vitality, Astralis, Complexity Gaming, Team Liquid and Natus Vincere will take part in the championship.
