IEM New York 2020 Online: Team Vitality became the first playoff participant

The first match of today's gaming day Intel Extreme Masters New York 2020 Online has come to an end. The meeting was not too long, but it was not without intrigue. If on the first map Vitality lost only 8 rounds to opponents, then in the second map the teams needed a series of additional rounds to determine the winner.

Team Vitality went to the playoffs, and Complexity Gaming, in turn, will play in the decisive match against Fnatic. The next match will be held in Group B. There FaZe Clan and OG will play against each other. The winner will become the second participant in the playoffs, while the losing squad will go to fight the BIG in the decisive match.

As for North America, there will be not 2, but 4 matches. In Group A, Evil Geniuses and Whalers will compete with each other. In Group B, Team Liquid will face off against Mythic, 100 Thieves will play against Chaos Esports Club, and Team oNe against RBG Esports.

Intel Extreme Masters New York 2020 Online started on October 6 and will end on the 25th. The total prize pool of the championship is $ 250,000, which is distributed over three regions. There will be $ 50,000 in the CIS division, $ 60,000 in North America, and $ 140,000 in Europe. CIS matches will start on October 13.
