GamerLegion secured a 2:0 victory over HEROIC in an elimination match at IEM Krakow 2026 Stage 1. The team made better use of their strengths on both maps of the series, while HEROIC failed to find consistency in key moments. As a result, HEROIC ended their tournament run, while GamerLegion continue their fight for a spot in the main stage.

Overpass (13:7 GamerLegion)

The first half on Overpass was fairly even. Despite picking the map and starting on the T side, GamerLegion managed to secure 7 rounds. HEROIC struggled on the offensive side in the second half, winning only 2 rounds and ultimately losing their opponent’s map pick 7:13.

Mirage (13:8 GamerLegion)

GamerLegion also confidently won HEROIC’s map pick. They started on the CT side and, thanks to a well-organized defense, took a 9:3 lead in the first half. After the side switch, HEROIC attempted a comeback on the CT side as well, but managed to win only 5 rounds. GamerLegion closed out Mirage with a 13:8 scoreline.

REZ was named the MVP of the match, finishing the series with an ADR of 96.2 and a rating of 1.34.

Despite being considered favorites in this matchup, HEROIC were unable to deliver their best performance and exit IEM Krakow 2026 Stage 1 in 13th–16th place, earning $2,500 in prize money. GamerLegion will play a decisive lower-bracket match against the loser of the Astralis vs NRG series. IEM Krakow 2026 Stage 1 takes place from January 28 to 30, with only 8 of the 16 teams advancing to the main event.
