PARIVISION defeated HEROIC in the opening match of IEM Krakow 2026

PARIVISION got off to a confident start at IEM Krakow 2026 Stage 1, securing a victory over HEROIC in the first-round match. The series went the full distance, but PARIVISION handled the key moments better and closed the matchup with a 2:1 scoreline. Despite winning Dust2, HEROIC were unable to turn the tide on the decisive map and will now continue their run in the lower bracket.

Inferno (13:6 PARIVISION)

PARIVISION started Inferno with an aggressive T side. HEROIC struggled to respond to the fast-paced executes and managed to secure only three rounds in the first half. In the second half, HEROIC answered back with a three-round streak on the T side, but PARIVISION remained in control and closed the map 13:6.

Dust2 (13:6 HEROIC)

HEROIC opened Dust2 with a confident CT-side performance. PARIVISION found it difficult to create space and execute their attacks, managing to win only three rounds in the first half. After the side switch, HEROIC comfortably closed out the map, controlling the pace and preventing any comeback attempts. The final score was 13:6 in favor of HEROIC.

Ancient (13:6 PARIVISION)

The deciding map once again went PARIVISION’s way. They showcased a strong T side, securing the majority of rounds in the first half. Jame and nota consistently created openings by finding early picks, giving their team full control of the map. The second half was short-lived, as HEROIC failed to mount a comeback and fell 6:13.

The MVP of the match was nota, who delivered a consistently strong performance across all three maps and finished the series with a 1.37 rating.

Following their championship win at BLAST Bounty S1, PARIVISION continue their strong form by winning their opening match at IEM Krakow 2026 Stage 1 and advancing further in the tournament. HEROIC drop to the lower bracket, where they will face GamerLegion. IEM Krakow 2026 Stage 1 runs from January 28 to 30, with only 8 of the 16 teams advancing to the main stage.
