
paiN Gaming defeat B8 and advance to the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 playoffs with a 3-0 record
The Brazilian squad paiN Gaming finished the group stage of PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 undefeated, defeating B8 with a score of 2:0 (13:8 on Dust2, 13:10 on Mirage) to secure their spot in the playoffs. The Ukrainians put up a strong fight, but the stellar performance from biguzera, who was named MVP of the match, earned the Brazilians their third consecutive victory.
Dust2 (8:13 paiN)
The series began on paiN’s map pick. The Brazilian team showed solid play both on offense and defense. B8 tried to slow down paiN’s momentum, but biguzera’s individual brilliance led his team to a 13:8 victory on Dust2.
Mirage (10:13 paiN)
paiN proved stronger even on their opponent’s map choice. The first half was evenly contested, with paiN leading by a narrow 7:5 margin. In the second half, the Ukrainian team managed to take the lead at 10:8, but paiN rallied with a series of winning rounds to close out the map 13:10.

paiN become the second team to qualify for the playoffs with a 3-0 record. B8 came close to victory but will now compete in the 2-1 pool. PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 runs from October 26 to November 1, featuring a $625,000 prize pool, with $200,000 awarded to the winning team and an additional $200,000 going to their organization.
