MOUZ confidently advance to the ESL Pro League S22 playoffs after crushing 3DMAX 2:0

MOUZ easily secured a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 22 playoffs, sweeping 3DMAX 2:0. The team showed strong form on both Inferno and Overpass, with xertioN and Spinx leading the charge. For the French side, this defeat isn’t fatal — they will continue fighting for a playoff spot from the 2-2 bracket.

Inferno (13:5 MOUZ)

The match started on Inferno, picked by 3DMAX. In the first half, the French squad failed to show any solid T-side play against MOUZ and managed to win only three rounds. After switching to the T-side, MOUZ quickly closed out the map 13:5. For MOUZ’s xertioN, it looked more like a warm-up — he finished the map with a 15/6 K/D and a 1.85 rating.

Overpass (8:13 MOUZ)

On Overpass, 3DMAX began on the CT side and managed to take a narrow 7:5 lead. However, the situation changed completely after the side switch. 3DMAX won only the pistol round before running out of ideas against MOUZ ’s aggressive defense.

Match MVP

The best player of the series was Spinx, who posted the highest Swing at +7.29% and a 1.57 rating.

This loss isn’t critical for 3DMAX — they fall into the 2-2 pool and still have a chance to reach the playoffs. MOUZ, on the other hand, advance to the playoffs after finishing the main stage with only one loss, to Team Falcons. The ESL Pro League Season 22 main stage runs from October 4 to 12, with the winner earning $100,000 for the team and $150,000 for the organization.
