The upper bracket final of Group A for a ticket to the LAN Finals semifinal at BLAST Open London 2025 between Team Vitality and FaZe turned into a true battle: the teams played all three maps, with two of them going into overtime. Despite it not being an elimination match, Vitality secured their place in the semifinals, while FaZe will continue from the quarterfinals.

Mirage (19:17 FaZe)

The first map of the series was Mirage — FaZe’s pick. On their own map, they managed to finish the first half with a narrow lead of 7:5. In the second half, Team Vitality won a streak of 7 rounds on the T side and pulled ahead 12:9. However, FaZe managed to win three crucial rounds to push the game into overtime, where they edged out their opponents and closed the map 19:17.

Nuke (19:16 Vitality)

On their own pick, Team Vitality repeated their opponent’s first-half score from the previous map, closing it 7:5 to gain a slight advantage. FaZe, in turn, won a streak of 4 rounds that gave them a match point at 12:9. However, as is often the case, Team Vitality turned on the pressure in clutch moments and pushed the game into overtime. This time it was Vitality who came out stronger — 19:16.

Inferno (13:5 Vitality)

The decider was Inferno, where the first half went terribly for FaZe. They managed to win only 4 rounds, giving Team Vitality a solid 8:4 lead. After the side switch, FaZe were unprepared to withstand their opponent’s attacks, and the map ended 13:5.

After the match, ropz shared his comment on Twitter/X, emphasizing how tough the series was:
