M80 qualify for BLAST Open London Finals after victory over Fnatic

In the Group A lower bracket final, an elimination match, M80 faced fnatic. Both teams had gone through tough battles in this tournament: M80 managed to defeat VP and NAVI, while fnatic overcame ECSTATIC and GamerLegion. In this bo3 series, it was M80 who proved stronger, closing the decisive map in overtime and leaving their opponents without a chance to come back.

Ancient (13:8 M80)

On their own pick, M80 managed to fight back from a 2:5 deficit and finished the first half trailing by just two rounds — 5:7. In the second half, fnatic were powerless against M80’s strong defense and fell 13:8.

Train (16:14 M80)

On fnatic’s pick, M80 started confidently and went into halftime with a solid 8:4 advantage. After the switch, fnatic seized momentum and, at 9:12, won three crucial rounds to push the game into overtime. However, in the extra rounds, M80 looked more composed and closed the map 16:14.

M80, on the other hand, advance further and will begin the main stage of BLAST Open London 2025 from the quarterfinals. The tournament will take place from September 5–7 in London at the OVO Arena Wembley. The total prize pool amounts to $330,000, with the champion taking home $150,000 and 3 Freq. Flyer Tokens.
