
Natus Vincere lost to 3DMAX and Was Eliminated From Esports World Cup 2025
3DMAX defeated Natus Vincere 2–1 in the Round of 16 at the Esports World Cup 2025. Na’Vi took Ancient, but 3DMAX struck back with decisive wins on Inferno and Nuke. Drin “makazze” Shaqiri shined for Na’Vi with the highest rating of the series, but the MVP went to 3DMAX’s Bryan “Maka” Canda, who delivered consistent impact and the match-winning defense on Nuke. With this result, 3DMAX advanced to the quarterfinals, while Na’Vi exited in 9–16th place.
Map 1 – Ancient (13:10 Natus Vincere)
3DMAX picked Ancient, but Natus Vincere started strong. A 7–5 halftime lead gave them the edge, and they closed the map 13–10 with makazze leading the scoreboard. The highlight came from Ex3rcice, who pulled off a 1v2 clutch to keep 3DMAX alive, but Na’Vi controlled the key late rounds to secure the opener.
Map 2 – Inferno (13:9 3DMAX)
Natus Vincere’s map pick turned against them. They stormed to an 8–4 halftime lead, helped by a 1v3 clutch from b1t. After the side switch, however, 3DMAX locked down their defense, winning nine of ten rounds. Bodyy’s rifling and Maka’s AWP made the difference, shutting out Na’Vi to take a 13–9 win and even the series.
Map 3 – Nuke (13:11 3DMAX)
The decider stayed close throughout. 3DMAX led 8–4 at halftime, but Na’Vi’s comeback was sparked by b1t’s pistol-round ace. Both sides traded momentum until round 24, where Maka delivered three AK kills on B site to secure the 13–11 victory. Lucky also contributed with a consistent impact across both halves, helping 3DMAX close the series.
With this win, 3DMAX moved into the quarterfinals, where they will face The MongolZ. Natus Vincere, alongside Astralis, FaZe, Spirit, Liquid, and GamerLegion, exited the competition in the Round of 16 with a $20,000 prize share.








The Esports World Cup 2025 is taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from August 20 to August 24. Sixteen teams are competing for a $1,250,000 prize pool. The winner will claim $500,000, the runner-up $230,000, and third place $130,000.
