
Falcons Defeat Vitality to Secure Third Place at EWC CS2 2025
The third-place decider at the Esports World Cup 2025 CS2 ended with Falcons defeating Vitality 2:1. The series was intense: Vitality had their chances to turn the match around, but Falcons showed superior adaptation in key moments and deservedly claimed third place at the tournament. On their own pick, Falcons fell short. Vitality dominated from start to finish, taking a convincing 13:3 victory. The French side displayed discipline and cohesion, leaving their opponents no room to respond.
Map 3 — Nuke (decider)
In the deciding map, Falcons once again demonstrated absolute superiority, crushing Vitality 13:3. The standout player was m0NESY, whose outstanding performance highlighted the team’s dominance. On the other side, Vitality looked deflated — a moment of despair from captain apEX captured by the cameras symbolized the team’s struggles.

The Esports World Cup 2025 takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from August 20–24, featuring 16 top teams battling for a $1,250,000 prize pool. The champion earns $500,000, second place secures $230,000, and third place takes $130,000. The tournament follows a single-elimination bracket with best-of-three matches leading up to a best-of-five grand final.
