FURIA qualify for playoffs with 2-0 over Virtus.pro
FURIA secured a clean 2-0 series win over Virtus.pro in the 2-0 pool of Stage 3 at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The Brazilian side advance to the playoffs with a 3-0 Swiss record, sending Virtus.pro into the 2-1 bracket.
The match opened on Mirage, Virtus.pro’s pick, but FURIA took full control early. A 9-3 CT half was followed by a flawless 4-0 T side finish. Mirage closed 13-3, with Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato and Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis both hitting multi-kill rounds to lock it down.
Map two was Train, where FURIA again controlled the pace. Despite a few individual rounds from Kaisar “ICY” Faiznurov, Virtus.pro were unable to break through. Yuri “yuurih” Santos led the scoreboard with 29-16 and 107.4 ADR across both maps, as FURIA closed Train 13-5 to complete the sweep.

Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo was named Player of the Match with a 1.39 rating, 27-14 K-D, and 88.2% KAST. His calling and late-round anchor play were key across both maps.
