MOUZ falls to 0-2 in the third stage

MOUZ’s Stage 3 opener didn’t go to plan. The world #2 dropped both best-of-ones on Mirage and Ancient, first to Virtus.pro in Round 1, then to FaZe in Round 2. Despite strong showings from Spinx and xertioN, MOUZ is now one loss away from elimination in Austin.

The opening game saw Virtus.pro close Mirage 13-11, despite an early pistol-round hero play by FL4MUS. MOUZ fought back from an 8:4 deficit with aggressive second-half pushes, including a 4K from xertioN on B and a 1v2 TEC9 clutch from torzsi. Still, VP's structured CT holds proved decisive.

In their second game, FaZe pushed MOUZ down to 0-2 with a confident 13-10 win on Ancient. rain led with impact frags across both halves, while MOUZ couldn’t convert mid-round advantages consistently, even with Spinx pulling off a 4K site hold.

Timur ‘FL4MUS’ Marev earned MVP in the first match with 20 kills and a 1.11 rating. His key pistol-round retake gave Virtus.pro the edge early and disrupted MOUZ’s T economy.

In the second match, Håvard ‘rain’ Nygaard led FaZe with a 1.39 rating and 21 frags. His clutch and consistent impact across both halves put FaZe over the finish line.
