Romania Wins IESF World Championship 2024 CS 2

Nexus emerged as the champion of the IESF World Championship 2024 CS 2, defeating Portugal team Rhyno 2-0 in the final. The decisive matches, held on November 17 in Riyadh, saw the Romanian team showcase their excellent performance on Inferno and Dust2.

Final Score:

  • Inferno: Nexus – Rhyno 16:14
  • Dust2: Nexus – Rhyno 13:9

The Romanian squad, consisting of Xellow, Ciocardau, Btn, Ragga, and Adron, overcame the tough resistance from the Portuguese team, which featured Rafaxf, Krazy, Tmkj, Snapy, and Nopeej. This victory earned Romania the well-deserved $100,000 prize.

Portugal secured second place and won $50,000. The tournament took place from November 13 to 17, 2024, in Riyadh, with a total prize pool of $240,000.

Romania stood out as an example of skill and strategy on the global stage, claiming the title of champions in one of the most prestigious CS 2 tournaments.
