Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov showcased his skills as G2 triumphed over their European counterparts on Ancient. G2 secured their spot in the Group C consolidation final by overwhelming OG 16-6 on both Ancient and Inferno. As a result, Nemanja "nexa" Isaković's team was relegated to the knockout stage, while G2 set themselves up for an exciting matchup against FaZe on Wednesday at 16:00.

Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač and his team didn't have the ideal start in Copenhagen, suffering a 1-2 defeat against the revamped Liquid in their first series. However, they managed to stay alive in the lower bracket of their group. The Bosnian rifler expressed optimism within the team and attributed G2's initial struggles to facing two new rosters without sufficient anti-strat material.

Speaking after the match, huNter- commented, "Liquid showed once again that they are an amazing team, and I believe they are one of the best teams in the world individually. They defeated us, and considering our strong individual performances, they outperformed us in the end. Playing against new teams is never easy, but I'm glad we won today against OG, and hopefully, we'll have a rematch against Liquid."

G2 made a remarkable recovery following their opening series loss. The combination of Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and m0NESY's star power led to a dominant victory on Ancient. The Russian superstar was exceptional throughout the map, securing three or more kills in five rounds, achieving eight multi-kills overall, and even securing an ace. By the end of the team's 16-6 triumph, m0NESY had an impressive 2.30 rating. G2 continued their dominance on their pick of Inferno, with huNter- and Justin "jks" Savage leading the charge in a one-sided victory, mirroring the scoreline of the first map. With a strong 10-5 T side orchestrated by Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and outstanding individual performances from G2's players, OG had no chance to make a comeback, resulting in another resounding 16-6 win to seal the series.
