Team Vitality defeat EYEBALLERS and qualify for the LAN stage of BLAST Bounty Winter 2026
French side Team Vitality successfully overcame the Closed Qualifier stage of BLAST Bounty Winter 2026, defeating Swedish squad EYEBALLERS in a tense two-map series. Despite strong resistance from the underdogs and a near-upset on Anubis, Vitality’s class and experience ultimately made the difference. Led by ZywOo, Vitality closed out the series and secured their spot at the LAN finals in Malta.

The game on EYEBALLERS’ map pick turned out to be extremely close. In the first half, the Swedish team showed solid defense and secured five rounds, which was a respectable result considering Vitality’s status. After switching to the T side, EYEBALLERS managed to reach map point, but Vitality pushed the game into overtime. In the extra rounds, EYEBALLERS were once again close to winning their own pick, however Vitality repeatedly won man-disadvantage situations and snatched the victory on Anubis, 19:16.

The beginning of Overpass went in favor of Vitality, who looked confident on the attacking side. However, starting from round seven, EYEBALLERS took control and put together a seven-round streak. Despite holding a slight lead, the Swedish squad failed to convert on the T side, winning just one round and ultimately losing Overpass 8:13.
