Cloud9 reached the quarterfinals of ESL Pro League Season 17

The Cloud9 team outplayed the Outsiders with a score of 2:1, thanks to which they advanced to the quarterfinals of ESL Pro League Season 17. Groove's wards got their third victory in the group stage of the championship, becoming the leaders of their group. In turn, the Outsiders team is on the second line, thus making it to the second round of the playoffs.

The derby for a place in the quarter-finals of the tournament started on the Vertigo map, which turned out to be the choice of Cloud9. At the same time, here the wards of groove quickly took the initiative under their control, having managed to unwind in the attack on a good series. At the same time, Jame and the company showed a moderate defense, recording a twofold backlog — 10:5. After switching sides, the Outsiders players failed to return to the fight, while Cloud9 brought the matter to victory without any problems and took the lead in the series — 16:9.

The teams then moved to Mirage, which became the Outsiders' choice. Here the situation developed in a similar way, although now the wards of dastan were much closer to the opponent. And yet, the "cloudy" managed to shoot at the end of the first half, in order to again get a two-fold advantage - 10:5. After switching sides, the "honey badgers" tried to join the game, but Cloud9 managed to break the situation over and over again. And yet, in the very ending, the Outsiders managed to snatch the initiative to bring the series to the destroyer — 16:14.

Everything was decided on the map Ancient, the first half of which was held in an equal fight, but still ended with a minimal advantage of the Outsiders players — 8:7. However, after switching sides, Cloud9 literally took the opponent out of the server, showing a cool series in attack, in order to get the final victory in the derby — 16:8.
