Teams Outsiders and fnatic got their first wins in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 17. According to the results of the quarterfinals of the upper bracket, they managed to cope with IHC Esports (2:0) and MIBR (2:0), respectively, thus making it to the next round. In turn, the IHC Esports and MIBR teams went to the lower bracket, where they will meet each other for the right not to fall from the "Last Chance" bracket.

Outsiders - IHC Esports

The starting match of the entire championship started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the Mongolian team. At the same time, at the start, IHC Esports managed to impose their game, creating problems for the opponent. And yet, towards the end of the first half, dastan's wards were able to wake up in order to get a comfortable advantage - 9:6. After the change of sides, the Russian team strengthened its advantage, while IHC Esports managed to bounce back a little and returned to the fight. Nevertheless, in the end Outsiders put the squeeze on the opponent and managed to take the lead in the series — 16:13.

Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which turned out to be the choice of the Outsiders. Here the intrigue tried to stay on the server, but dastan's wards showed an excellent attack in order to get another advantage in three rounds - 9:6. However, after the switchover, the Mongolian team finally disappeared from the radar, while the Outsiders players demonstrated exemplary defense and got their first victory in the tournament — 16:7.

MIBR-fnatic

The parallel duel started on the Ancient map, which turned out to be the choice of the Brazilian team. But if the starting segment was left for the MIBR players, then closer to the change of sides, keita's charges found their game and got a comfortable advantage - 9:6. After the side switch, the Brazilians did not come up with anything for the defense, finally giving the initiative into the hands of the opponent. This was taken advantage of by fnatic players, who managed to open up in attack and quickly take the lead in the series — 16:7.

Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which became the choice of fnatic. Here the situation developed in a similar way, since the European team controlled the situation, managing to lead the opponent three rounds of difference before the switchover — 9:6. In the second half, MIBR tried to return to the game, but it turned out to be too late. As a result, fnatic was able to put the squeeze on the opponent and got the first victory in the championship — 16:12.
