Eternal Fire wins CCT Central Europe Malta Finals 1
/CCT Central Europe Malta Finals 1 has come to an end. As part of the competition, which took place from February 16 to February 19 in Malta, eight teams from Europe and the CIS competed for a total prize pool of $100,000, as well as a ticket to CCT Global Finals 2024 for the winner. The Turkish team Eternal Fire became the champion of the tournament, which in a bitter struggle turned out to be stronger than Bad News Eagles with a score of 2:1 (Overpass - 16:12; Mirage - 9:16; Vertigo - 19:16).

The competition for Fabre's men began with a loss to the Bad News Eagles (14:16). However, then the Turkish team managed to beat HONORIS (2:0) and forZe (2:1) to take the second place in their group and get into the playoffs.

Already in the semifinals, Eternal Fire was able to defeat ENCE (2:0), but in the final of the upper bracket, the team failed to cope with Bad News Eagles (1:2) and went to the lower part of the championship. However, here the team again turned out to be stronger than ENCE (2:0) and made it to the grand final.
In the decisive match of the competition, the Turkish team managed to outplay Bad News Eagles (2:1), thereby becoming the winner of CCT Central Europe Malta Finals 1 and earning a prize of $50,000. XANTARES was recognized as the best player of the championship with an impressive rating of 1.28.
Now Eternal Fire will be preparing for the start of the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 17, where it will meet G2 Esports in the first match.
