Presented the seventh season of the European Development Championship

Tournament operators Eden Esports and GAM3RS_X have announced the seventh season of the European Development Championship. The championship, which will take place from February 13 to 27 online, will offer participants a total prize pool of $45,000, as well as two bootcamps in Malta for the finalists.

Over the next months, the organizers are expected to hold two series championships in partnership with GamingMalta, Hellcase, GRID Esports, Endorfy and Displate.

Format and schedule of European Development Championship Season 7

The championship will begin with a qualifying round, scheduled from January 30 to February 8. Here, sixteen invited teams will compete for four tickets to the main stage of the competition.

Invited members:

  • GTZ, Eternal Fire Academy, ALTERNATE aTTaX, Anonymo, Astralis Talent, ECSTATIC, FTW, ENCE Academy, Forward Gaming, JANO Esports, MOUZ NXT, NAVI Junior, Nexus Gaming, Undefined and Ungentium.

The group stage will follow, which will last from 13 to 20 February. Here, sixteen participants will be divided into four groups (four teams each).

At the end of the group stage, the top two teams from each quartet will advance to the playoffs. Also, the organizers will invite eight additional teams to form the final composition of the playoffs. The final stage of the European Development Championship Season 7 will take place from 22 to 27 February.

European Development Championship Season 7 will be held online from 13 to 27 February. As part of the competition, 24 teams from Europe and the CIS will compete for a total prize pool of $45,000, as well as two bootcamps in Malta for the finalists.

  • 1st place: $20,000 + bootcamp in Malta
  • 2nd place: $10,000 + bootcamp in Malta
  • 3rd-4th place: $5,000
  • 5th-8th place: $1,250
