The NaVi team outplayed Ninjas in Pajamas with a score of 2:1 in the group stage of BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023, thanks to which they reached the final of the upper bracket of group C. Here, the Born to Win will play with G2 Esports, which turned out to be stronger than BIG the day before with a score of 2: 0. Thus, NAVI started the new competitive season with a victory.

The final meeting of the starting round started on the map Inferno, which became the choice of the Swedish team. At the same time, Ninjas in Pajamas quickly seized the initiative on the server in order to get a minimal advantage at the end of the first half — 8:7. However, after the side switch, the Swedes suddenly disappeared from the radar, while NAVI players showed a confident attack and quickly brought the matter to victory - 16:9.

Next, the teams moved to the Mirage map, which turned out to be the choice of the Born to Win. Here, at first, the initiative was held by NAVI, but closer to the change of sides, Ninjas in Pajamas managed to turn the game around and get a minimal advantage - 8:7. After the change of sides, the Swedes were able to quickly run ahead, almost scoring a victory. But then "Born to Win" decided to return to the server to make it to overtime. Still, Ninjas in Pajamas managed to show some character in extra time to equalize the score in the series - 19:17.

Everything was decided on the Overpass map, where NAVI players began to correct for a mistake on their own pick and gave out an excellent attack - 11:4. After the switch of sides, Ninjas in Pajamas was no longer able to recoup, while the Ukrainian team brought the matter to a victorious end and advanced further along the upper bracket — 16:8.
