At the same time, Heroic players quickly seized the initiative on the server, while the "liquid" players had to catch up with the opponent every now and then. And yet, Team Liquid managed to seize their chance and reduce the gap to a minimum - 8:7. However, after the change of sides, the intrigue disappeared from the radar, as the Danish team showed a confident defense and broke the opponent. While the North Americans were limited only to the opening rounds, Heroic played cleanly in the end and took the lead in the series - 16:10.
Next, the teams moved to the Inferno map, which turned out to be the choice of Team Liquid. Here the situation was in favor of the Danish team, but only up to the equator of the half. However, even before the changeover, the "liquid" managed to find their game in attack and got a minimal advantage - 8:7. In the second half, the game took on a more equal character with an abundance of mistakes on both sides. At this pace, the teams made it to overtime, where Team Liquid proved to be more persistent and equalized the score in the series — 19:17.
Everything was decided on the Vertigo map, where the Danish team began to correct the situation and began to bend their line. At the same time, Team Liquid showed a too slow attack, thereby letting the opponent go too far — 11:4. After the switchover, the Liquids still tried to comeback, winning a series of four rounds. However, here Heroic joined the game, which managed to find its attack, and at the same time got the final victory in the series — 16:9.
