Heroic knocks out Team Spirit from IEM Rio Major 2022 and advances to the 1/2 finals
The Heroic team defeated Team Spirit 2:0 and made it to the 1/2 finals of IEM Rio Major 2022. Here the Danish team will play with the winner of the final quarterfinals of FURIA — NAVI. Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which became Heroic's choice. And again, the Russian team managed to win the pistol series, running a little ahead. However, Heroic recovered very soon and ran ahead, starting to bury the opponent — 10:5. After switching sides, the Dragons won the fourth pistol series, thus returning themselves to the game. Yet one disastrous round from Team Spirit killed a possible comeback. At that very time, Heroic took advantage of the opponent's mistakes to gather her thoughts and make it to the semi-finals of IEM Rio Major 2022 - 16:14.
