Perfecto: "I've always wanted to play with the crowd against me"

Perfecto, player of the NaVi team, is looking forward to the start of the quarterfinal match of IEM Rio Major 2022 against FURIA. In a conversation with a representative of the Dust2 portal, a representative of Born to Win noted that his team is not afraid to play against a local team. The 22-year-old esportsman added that he had long wanted to play with the crowd that is opposed to him.

We have no concerns about this crowd. In fact, I have always wanted to play with a crowd that is totally against me. It gives more motivation, and as far as noise issues, we're just going to adapt as we go.

During the conversation, Perfecto also assessed the difficulties of NAVI at IEM Rio Major 2022. According to him, having five matches played will only benefit the team.

Difficulties at the beginning of the tournament did not affect us. People expected us to pass the group stage without any difficulty, but that's just their expectation. It made us work a little harder. We played more games, saw more bugs that we can fix. Now we feel we are better prepared for the playoffs.

At the end of the conversation, the 22-year-old added that he is not afraid to play against FURIA, as his team knows the opponent's weaknesses.

Their weakest point is probably over-aggression. This is what we will try to control against them. This is what we think can help us.

Recall that NAVI made it to the playoffs of IEM Rio Major 2022 after five rounds played at the Legends stage. In the quarterfinals of the tournament, "Born to Win" will play with the local team FURIA.
