The Vitality team lost to ENCE with a score of 0:2, thus leaving the IEM Rio Major 2022. The Danish-French team takes 12th-14th place and earns $20,000. In turn, ENCE advances to the fifth round of the Legends stage, where it will compete for a place in the championship playoffs.

The next match for the right not to be eliminated from the championship started on the Vertigo map, which turned out to be the choice of the Danish-French team. At the same time, the start was entirely left to the ENCE players, who dominated the defense and quickly developed the advantage. And yet Vitality was able to pick up a little on the attack to get closer to the opponent — 9:6. After the change of sides, zonic's wards joined the fight and even took the lead. But the ending was left for the ENCE players, who spun in the attack and took the lead in the series — 16:12.

Next, the teams moved to the Nuke map, which became the choice of ENCE. Now Vitality tried to dictate its own conditions, over and over again accepting the opponent's attacks. As a result, ZywOo and the company got a slight advantage, leaving hopes for a change of sides - 9:6. In the second half, the intrigue quickly disappeared from the radar, as ENCE immediately seized the initiative and ran ahead. In turn, Vitality managed to brighten up the picture and get to overtime. And yet here the wards of sAw managed to defeat the opponent and knock out Vitality from IEM Rio Major 2022 — 19:15.

IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,250,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.
