Khairulla Cheku, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Kosovo, helped the Bad News Eagles team obtain visas to participate in IEM Rio Major 2022. The players of the Kosovar team spoke about this on Twitter. Probably, e-sportsmen had difficulties in obtaining visas to Brazil, as a result of which they had to ask for help from the authorities.

I want to sincerely thank the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Kosovo for their help in obtaining visas. With such help, we can continue to move towards our goals.

In the coming days, Bad News Eagles will travel to Brazil, where they will take part in the IEM Rio Major 2022. Recall that the team qualified for the championship, taking sixth place in the Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A. In the first round of the competition, the team will meet with Brazilians from 00NATION.

It is noteworthy that the composition received an approving response from the minister: "Good luck to the guys from the Bad News Eagles. Nothing can prevent our talented youth from realizing their potential," Khairulla wrote to Cheku.

IEM Rio Major 2022 will take place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia will compete for a prize fund of $1,250,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.
