The fourth gaming day of IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR A has ended, following which we saw several sensations at once. While Team Spirit, Cloud9 and Sprout secured their participation in IEM Rio Major 2022, G2 Esports , Astralis and Eternal Fire left the championship. Day 4 of IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR A

The game day began with matches for a slot at IEM Rio Major 2022. In the first case, Team Spirit confidently dealt with Bad News Eagles (2:0), as well as in a parallel match, Cloud9 won a derby victory over 1WIN (2:0). In the third match of this kind, the Danes from Sprout managed to crush B8 (2:1) and went to the "legends" of the major.

Already in the evening we looked at three meetings in which the fate of three more teams was decided. In the first case, Eternal Fire lost to fnatic (0:2), while in one of the parallel fights, G2 Esports sensationally lost to GamerLegion (1:2) and left the championship. Well, at the end of the gaming day, Astralis picked up the baton, unable to cope with forZe (0:2).
