Team Vitality beat Natus Vincere with a score of 2:1, zonic's wards interrupted NaVi's streak, this game was held as part of ESL Pro League Season 16. The last time the French-Danish team beat NaVi was on November 22, 2020 in the grand final of IEM XV Beijing, after which they lost 10 meetings in a row.

The first matchup map was Inferno, Vitality's pick. The Born to Win played the defense side excellently, the French-Danish team could not cope with either the banana or the A base. At the end of the first half, Natus Vincere emerged victorious with 11 rounds on their scoreboard. NaVi had problems on the attacking side, but these problems were felt only in the opening rounds. As soon as Team Vitality were close to leveling the score, NaVi immediately won the opponent's pick in a series of rounds. Natus Vincere 16:10 Team Vitality.

The second Mirage map was remembered for its unexpected denouement. If at the beginning, and in general, the first half ended as expected with the victory of the Born to Win with a minimal margin, then after the change of sides something happened. Natus Vincere began to dominate on the defensive side and led with a score of 12:10. But then the French-Danish team turned on the "turbo mode", and reduced it to 15:12 in their favor. Born to Win, of course, tried to at least reach overtime, but as often happens, the team lacked quite a bit in the 30th round. Team Vitality 16:14 Natus Vincere.

The decisive map was Overpass, the NaVi team started on the defensive side. Initially, the wards of B1ad3 had a slight dominance and led with a score of 4:0, but the clutch and ace from apEX really boosted the French-Danish team, so much so that they reduced it to 6:6. But despite the mistakes from Natus Vincere, the ending was theirs (9:6). How powerfully Vitality played for the defense side. NaVi failed to win only one round, and Vitality reached the match point. Only then the Born to Win started taking rounds, but that was not enough, today's Vitality looked very good, although they were close to losing 2:0. Team Vitality 16:12 Natus Vincere.
