The second game day of the fourth open qualifier for IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europe has come to an end, according to the results of which the teams Astralis, sAw, 1WIN and HEET have guaranteed themselves participation in the upcoming RMR tournament. While many well-known teams have already deprived themselves of the chance to get to IEM Road to Rio 2022, we offer you to go through the intermediate results of the qualifiers.

Favorites take their toll, but not all

Unfortunately, the open qualifier again turned out to be a failure for the Entropiq team, which this time lost to Take Aim Gaming (23:25). The teams SKADE and Apeks also missed the RMR tournament, having lost to Illuminar Gaming (12:16) and GamerLegion (15:19) the day before, respectively. The Macedonians from BLUEJAYS were also left without a major, who lost to Astralis in the 1/8 finals (11:16).

Now it's worth talking about those teams that have already guaranteed themselves participation in IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europe. First of all, we are talking about the Danish team Astralis, which this time solved its problem by beating Budapest Five (16:12), los kogutos (16:12), BLUEJAYS (16:11) and Illuminar Gaming (2:0).

The Danes at RMR will be accompanied by the SAW team, which defeated PACT (16:4), Infinite Gaming (16:5), Anonymo Esports (16:9) and GamerLegion (2:0) during the qualification. Unexpectedly, the Russian team 1WIN fired, which managed to outplay BakS eSports (16:8), premghouls (16:5), 9 Pandas (16:6) and Forward Gaming (2:0). The HEET team also made it into the TOP-4 of the qualifier, having managed to beat Nexus Gaming (16:11), Pusheens (16:14), xdddd (16:12) and BenchedHeroes (2:0).

Note that four teams will compete for the last two tickets to IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europe - Illuminar Gaming, BenchedHeroes, Forward Gaming and GamerLegion.
