Copenhagen Flames and Team Falcons invited to CCT Central Europe Series #1 playoffs

Tournament partner operators responsible for holding the CCT Central Europe Series #1 have announced the list of invited participants in the championship playoffs. Among the teams that received invites were many big names, including the Copenhagen Flames and Team Falcons.

Among the invited participants, there was a place for the Brazilian team MIBR, who will test the updated line-up at their bootcamp. The teams forZe and 1WIN were also invited to the playoffs, with whom the Macedonian team BLUEJAYS will pave their way to the top.

A ticket to the playoffs of the CCT Central Europe Series #1 also went to Eternal Fire, which the day before managed to secure a place for itself at the RMR tournament, which will be held in October in Malta. The organizers did not forget about the Swedish team Team Finest, which is a regular at TIER-2 events.

Currently, the participants of the CCT Central Europe Series #1 are participating in the Swiss stage of the championship. Here are the following teams: Aurora Gaming, Dynamo Eclot, ENTERPRISE esports, Illuminar Gaming, Monte, PALOMA, SKADE, Tricked Esport, Beyond Possible, SC e-Sports, EC Kyiv, KOVA Esports, MASONIC, X, EYEBALLERS and Team Sampi.

CCT Central Europe Series #1 runs from August 22 to September 4 online. As part of the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the CIS and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $50,000.

  • 1st place: $22,000
  • 2nd place: $10,000
  • 3rd-4th place: $5,000
  • 5th-8th place: $2,000
  • 9th-16th place: TBD
  • 17th-19th place: TBD
  • 20th-22nd place: TBD
  • 23rd-24th place: TBD

The overall Champion of Champions series system for 2022-2024 is as follows:

  1. 44 open regional qualifiers.
  2. 44 online tournaments.
  3. 11 studio finals.
  4. Global LAN Finals.

GRID Esports and its founding partners (FACEIT, Eden Esports, Relog Media, Black Molly Entertainment, Fantasy Expo) jointly announced a new tournament called "Champion of Champions Tour (CCT)", which will run from August 2022 to January 2024 year and will offer a prize pool of $3.4 million.
