Team Liquid wins first victory at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022

Team Liquid turned out to be stronger than G2 Esports with a score of 16:12 in the group stage of BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022. After this victory, the North American team went to the final of the upper bracket of group B, where they will meet with Complexity. In turn, G2 Esports will go to the lower bracket of the quartet, where the team will play against NAVI.

The second meeting in group B took place on the Mirage map. The start of the series was left to the G2 Esports team, which, having won the pistol round, got a good advantage. However, the North Americans managed to join the fight and even took the lead. But suddenly, XTQZZZ's men woke up to finish the half with a minimal lead - 8:7.

The change of sides benefited G2 Esports, which again won the pistol series and ran ahead. And yet, the “liquid” managed to equalize the situation, not only catching up with the opponent, but also slipping ahead without any problems. As a result, Team Liquid managed to play well and got the first victory in the group stage of BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 — 16:12.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 takes place from 19 to 28 August in Copenhagen. As part of the championship, twelve partner teams from Europe, the CIS and North America are fighting for a prize pool of $177,498, rating points, and six tickets to BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022.
