The FaZe Clan team turned out to be stronger than Astralis with a score of 2:1 as part of BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022, thanks to which they made it to the autumn finals of the season from BLAST. In turn, the Danish team takes 7th-9th place in the championship, thus getting to BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2022.

The first match of the final gaming day started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of FaZe Clan. At the same time, the first half was held in an equal fight, albeit with a minimal advantage in favor of the “hosts” – 8:7. However, after the change of sides, everything fell into place, as RobbaN's men managed to quickly seize the initiative and smear the Danes. As a result, FaZe Clan confidently closed their own pick and took the lead in the series — 16:9.

Next, the teams moved to the map Ancient, which turned out to be the choice of Astralis. But if the start of the first half was left to the Danish team, then closer to the change of sides, the FaZe Clan players managed to pull themselves together and reduced their gap to a minimum — 8:7. After switching sides, the teams continued to exchange a series of rounds without laying out all the cards for a long time. At some point, it seemed that Astralis was about to squeeze the opponent and level the score in the series. But FaZe Clan players managed to make a mini-comeback to take the series to overtime. And yet here the Danes managed to take back their game and brought the series to the third map — 19:16.

Everything was decided on the Nuke map, the first half of which was completely controlled by FaZe Clan players. After the side switch, the Danish team tried to return to the game, but it didn't work out. As a result, FaZe Clan won an important victory and secured their participation in BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022 — 16:10.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 takes place from 19 to 28 August in Copenhagen. As part of the championship, twelve partner teams from Europe, the CIS and North America are competing for a total prize pool of $177,498, rating points, and six tickets to BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022.
