Barcelona Stadium to host FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals
Tournament operator FiReSPORTS has announced the details of the upcoming FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals. The championship will be held from 13 to 16 October in Spain at the stadium of the football club "Barcelona" - Camp Nou. It is this stadium that will host the grand final of the championship, accommodating a little more than 99 thousand spectators.
At present, the names of three participants of the championship are known. Brazilian teams Imperial Esports and 00NATION received direct invitations to FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals. Note that Imperial Esports is preparing to present an updated roster. According to rumors, the team will part ways with fnx, inviting chelo to replace him.
The third well-known participant in the tournament is the Latin American team 9z, which got the right to play at the event thanks to their victory at last year's FiReLEAGUE 2021. Recall that in that final, 9z was stronger than Isurus with a score of 3:1.
The remaining participants will be determined based on the results of FiReLEAGUE 2022: Argentinian League (two slots), as well as qualifiers in Europe (one slot) and North America (two slots). Note that the regional qualifiers for FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals will end by the end of the month.
