The paiN Gaming team outplayed Imperial Esports with a score of 2:1, thanks to which they became the first grand finalist of FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals. Now the Brazilian team will be waiting for their opponent in the grand final, which will be determined by the results of the Team Spirit meeting - 9z. In turn, Imperial Esports ends their participation in the championship, earning $7,000.

The first semi-final of the tournament started on the Dust 2 map, which, as expected, became the choice of paiN Gaming. But if the starting initiative was left to FalleN and the company, then closer to the change of sides, the nominal "owners" managed to wake up and even took the lead - 8:7. After switching sides, the teams continued to exchange series of rounds, but at the very end, paiN Gaming managed to seize control and then take the lead in the series — 16:14.

Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which became the choice of Imperial Esports. Here the game turned out to be no less equal, even if the first half ended with a minimal victory for FalleN and the company — 8:7. After switching sides, paiN Gaming tried to impose its own pace and almost snatched victory, Imperial Esports proved unshakable and equalized the score in the series — 16:14.

Everything was decided on the Vertigo map, the first half of which, surprisingly, ended in a rout in favor of paiN Gaming — 11:4. After the change of sides, the players of Imperial Esports still tried to oppose something in response, but in vain. As a result, paiN Gaming won a confident victory on the third map and made it to the grand final of the competition — 16:6.

FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals takes place from 14 to 16 October in Spain at the stadium of the Barcelona football club - Camp Nou. As part of the championship, eight teams from the CIS, Europe and Latin America are fighting for a total prize pool of $150,000.
