YEKINDAR will play for Team Liquid at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022

According to the Dust2 portal, the European esports organization Team Liquid announced YEKINDAR to participate in the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022. Probably, the club agreed with the player, or finally bought out the contract of the 22-year-old Latvian esports player from Virtus.pro.

YEKINDAR became a real star of the competitive scene as part of Virtus.pro (later Outsiders). In two years, the player helped the team win Flashpoint Season 2, DreamHack Open December 2020, cs_summit 7 and ESL Challenger #48, as well as reach the semi-finals and quarter-finals of the Intel Extreme Masters XV - World Championship and PGL Major Stockholm 2021, respectively.

However, after a series of problems that fell on the team, Marek decided to leave the Russian club. As a result, YEKINDAR managed to try on the Team Liquid jersey as part of the Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne, reaching the semi-finals of the championship in Cologne with the team.

Recall that the North American team presented changes in the starting lineup after the end of Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Dallas. As a result, shox and adreN left the team. While daps became the new coach, the organization never managed to find a permanent replacement for the Frenchman.

If the European club really managed to declare YEKINDAR for the next championship, it remains a mystery in what particular status Marek will help the “liquid”. According to early information, Team Liquid was in danger of running into problems when submitting an official transfer request, since Virtus.pro is under sanctions.

If YEKINDAR ends up not playing for Team Liquid, BLAST could impose a penalty on the team, while the Liquids will have to look for an additional replacement.

The next stop for Team Liquid will be BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022, which will take place from August 19-28. Then the team will start its journey within the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16.

The likely Team Liquid CS:GO roster is as follows:
