Rumor: Stewie2K and RUSH are leaving Evil Geniuses

Information has appeared on the network that the Evil Geniuses esports organization has made changes to its CS:GO roster. The team said goodbye to Jacky 'Stewie2K' Yip and William 'RUSH' Wierzba and added players such as Kévin 'misutaaa' Rabier and Sanjar 'neaLaN' İshakov. The reason for the changes in the roster is called unsatisfactory results in recent times.

Stewie2K and RUSH joined EG in January 2022. During their stay in the roster, the team can boast of such achievements as 10-12th place at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022, 21-24th place at ESL Pro League Season 15, 5-8th place within BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2022 and 4th place at ESL Challenger League Season 41: North America. The total earnings of the team for six months is $20,666.

Misutaaa is known for his performances for Team Vitality, for which he has been playing since March 2020. The team can boast of winning the Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Winter, which brought in $100,000 in prize money, as well as the 3rd place at BLAST Premier: World Final 2021, earning $120,000. The last tournament for the player was Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne, where misutaaa and the team finished in 9th-12th place.

The twenty-one-year-old Kazakh player neaLaN has been playing for the K23 club in recent years. Of the achievements for 2022, it is worth noting the victory at Pinnacle Winter Series #1 and Thunderpick Bitcoin Series.

The next major tournament for EG will be BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022, which will be held from August 19th to 28th. 12 teams will compete for $177,498 in prize money and BLAST Premier points.
