Movistar Riders, unexpectedly for many, beat Vitality with a score of 2:0 (Vertigo 16:13; Overpass 16:4). With this victory, the Spaniards guaranteed their entry into the group stage, and the Danish-French team will have to play one more game in the Play-In. Their opponents will be the Sprout team, the loser will leave the championship.

Movistar Riders vs. Vitality

  1. Movistar Riders removed Dust2
  2. Vitality removed Ancient
  3. Movistar Riders picked Vertigo
  4. Vitality Picked Overpass
  5. Movistar Riders removed Inferno
  6. Vitality removed Nuke
  7. Mirage was left over

1) Vitality had a good start on the first map of the confrontation, at some point they were leading with a score of 6:1, but after a series of rounds won from the attack, the situation no longer looked so clear. Movistar Riders take six rounds on the attacking side, which will be enough for them to win the Vertigo in the future, as they will demonstrate excellent defense in the second half. After switching sides, the Spaniards take the pistol round and the opponent's eco. After that, Vitality take the round, but we won't see a streak from them. Separate single rounds won, that's all that Vitality managed to attack on the choice of an opponent. Movistar Riders 16:13 Vitality.

2) The second map surprised many Vitality fans, and the players themselves must be shocked. Three rounds won on the attack side is very little, especially on Overpass, which, although it is a CT-oriented map, is not so much. The pistol round decided a lot on this map, because if you lose it, it's almost a 100% chance of GG. And the Danish-French team loses it, and then the game. Movistar Riders 16:4 Vitality.

Movistar Riders are the fourth team after Team Spirit, Heroic and Outsiders to advance to the group stage.

Vitality will have to fight the Sprout team to reach the group stage. They should not have problems with them, although after a disastrous result against the Spaniards, anything can be expected.
