Mousesports managed to reach the group stage of Intel Extreme Master Cologne 2022, surprisingly, the Chinese team TYLOO turned out to be the last of their opponents. The meeting ended with the score 2:0. (Overpass 16:7; Ancient 16:11).

Mousesports vs. TYLOO

  1. TYLOO removed Nuke
  2. MOUZ removed Dust2
  3. TYLOO picked Overpass
  4. MOUZ picked Ancient
  5. TYLOO removed Vertigo
  6. MOUZ removed Mirage
  7. Inferno was left over

1) The first map of the confrontation was the pick of the TYLOO team. On Overpass, the Mice demonstrate a powerful defense, through which the TYLOO team managed to break through only in 4 rounds. To return to the game, the Chinese team had to take the pistol round, but MOUZ could not be stopped, they went to 15:4 without any problems, but they finished the game after a few rounds. Mousesports 16:7 TYLOO.

2) The second map was Ancient, where the opposition favorites have a 90% win rate. But even with this in mind, the Chinese team imposed a serious struggle. But the Mice managed to take their seven rounds for the weak attacking side. After switching sides, TYLOO took some point rounds and managed to bring the game to a not so devastating score, but they did not manage to win. Mousesports 16:11 TYLOO.

The Mousesports team managed to reach the group stage. The first match for the team was a meeting with the paiN Gaming team, whom they beat with a score of 19-16. After that, the MOUZ team loses to the Danes from Heroic with a score of 1:2, but the victory against TYLOO allowed the team to go through the lower bracket to the next stage of the championship.

The TYLOO team had the opportunity to get into the group stage, but the team did not have enough power against tier-1 teams. TYLOO took 9th-12th place in the Play-In stage, earning $4,500 per team.
