OG and Complexity Gaming leave the Roobet Cup without reaching the playoffs

The last day of the Roobet Cup group stage in groups A and B has ended.

Decisive matches for reaching the playoffs ended as follows. FaZe Clan beat OG 2:1 (Ancient 11:16; Mirage 16:9; Overpass 16:13). Astralis knocked out Complexity from the championship, the meeting ended with a score of 2:1 (Inferno 16:5; Overpass 11:16; Nuke 16:9).

Group A team results

  1. BIG advance to the playoffs from the first place. They defeated Entropiq 2:1 and FaZe Clan 2:1.
  2. FaZe Clan advance to the playoffs from the second place. Their results: 2:0 OG, 1:2 BIG, 2:1 OG.
  3. OG are eliminated from the tournament, finishing third in the group. Their results: 0:2 FaZe Clan, 2:0 Entropiq, 1:2 FaZe Clan.
  4. Entropiq are eliminated from the tournament after finishing fourth in the group. Their results: 1:2 BIG, 0:2 OG.

Group B results

  1. Cloud9 advance to the playoffs from the first place. They defeated Complexity Gaming 2:0 and Astralis 2:0.
  2. Astralis advance to the playoffs from second place. Their results: 2:0 Movistar Riders, 0:2 Cloud9, 2:1 Complexity Gaming.
  3. Complexity Gaming are eliminated from the tournament, finishing third in the group. Their results: 0:2 Cloud9, 1:0 (technical victory) Movistar Riders, 1:2 Astralis.
  4. Movistar Riders are eliminated from the tournament after finishing fourth in the group. Their results: 0:2 Astralis, 0:1 (technical defeat) Complexity Gaming.

Movistar Riders withdrew from the middle of the championship, preferring the ESL Challenger League Season 41: Europe tournament. Earlier, we already wrote about it.

The first playoff games will be tomorrow, the pairs will be announced a little later, after the end of the games in groups C and D.

Roobet Cup 2022 runs from June 22 to 30 online. As part of the championship, sixteen participants from Europe, the CIS, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $250,000.

  • 1st place: TBD $150,000.
  • 2nd place: TBD $50,000.
  • 3rd-4th place: TBD $15,000.
  • 5th-8th place: TBD $5,000.
  • 9th-12th place: OG, Complexity Gaming, Imperial.
  • 13th-16th place: Movistar Riders, Entropiq and Outsiders.
