MOUZ NXT is the winner of WePlay Academy League Season 4

WePlay Academy League Season 4 has come to an end. As part of the championship, which was held online from May 24 to June 26, thirteen youth teams from Europe, the CIS and Brazil fought for a prize pool of $100,000. The winner of the tournament was the mouz NXT team, which in the grand final was stronger than BIG Academy with a score of 2:0 (Nuke - 16:6; Dust 2 - 16:13).

The undisputed winner of the WePlay Academy League kicked off his new season with another landslide victory in the group stage, during which MOUZ NXT won ten victories and also suffered two losses. As a result, the youth team of the MOUZ organization earned 30 points, thereby directly entering the final stage of the championship.

However, here MOUZ NXT unexpectedly lost to FURIA Academy (0:2), thus falling into the lower bracket. And yet here the team woke up to take down Fnatic Rising (2:0), FURIA Academy (2:0) and BIG Academy (2:0) in turn to become the winner of WePlay Academy League Season 4 and earn a cash prize of $45,000.

Note that this is the fourth victory of MOUZ NXT in the framework of the WePlay Academy League championship series - the team became the champion of the previous three seasons.

  • 2nd place: BIG Academy — $20,000.
  • 3rd place: FURIA Academy - $15,000.
  • 4th place: Fnatic Rising — $8,000
  • 5th-6th place: Young Ninjas and Astralis Talent — $4,000.
  • 7th-8th place: OG Academy and 00PROSPECTS — $1,500.
  • 9th-10th place: NAVI Junior and Young Gods — $500.
  • 11th-12th place: Spirit Academy and Apeks Rebels.
  • 13th place: Eternal Fire Academy.
