BIG Academy reach the grand finals of WePlay Academy League Season 4

Add as a Preferred Source

In the second day of the playoff stage of WePlay Academy League Season 4, two games took place, in the lower bracket mouz NXT teams met against fnatic Rising, where the first ones won the confrontation with a score of 2:0 (Inferno 16:13; Dust2 19:16), and the second game was the meeting for reaching the grand final between BIG Academy and FURIA Academy, where the Germans beat the Brazilians with a dry score 2:0 (Dust2 16:3; Overpass 16:1).

mouz NXT vs fnatic Rising

  1. fnatic Rising removed Mirage
  2. MOUZ NXT removed Overpass
  3. fnatic Rising picked Inferno
  4. MOUZ NXT picked Dust2
  5. fnatic Rising removed Ancient
  6. MOUZ NXT removed Vertigo
  7. Nuke was left over

On the Inferno map, the teams confidently took rounds on the attacking side. fnatic Rising started with an eight round streak, but after that, mouz NXT took six rounds on defense, which was enough to win. After all, after switching sides, fnatic Rising managed to take only four rounds out of five played, and after that, mouz NXT took the opponent's choice with a confident attack. mouz NXT 16:13 fnatic Rising.

The second map, Dust2, was remembered for its reinforced concrete defense against both teams and the mice's comeback from a score of 2:13. We did not see a good attack on this map. fnatic Rising took the same amount as mouz NXT, namely two rounds. After that, we saw overtimes, where the mice got two rounds in attack without any problems before winning. mouz NXT 19:16 fnatic Rising.

BIG Academy vs. FURIA Academy

  1. BIG Academy removed Inferno
  2. FURIA Academy removed Ancient
  3. BIG Academy picked Dust2
  4. FURIA Academy picked Overpass
  5. BIG Academy removed Nuke
  6. FURIA Academy removed Mirage
  7. Vertigo was left over

On the first map of Dust2, the Brazilians from FURIA Academy were able to take only three rounds on the defensive side, but in general it was clear that BIG Academy was head and shoulders above their opponent. After the change of sides, the Germans from BIG Academy did not even give a chance for a comeback and calmly take their pick. BIG Academy 16:3 FURIA Academy.

The second map became even more devastating for the FURIA Academy team, because all they could do was take one round on the attack side. They did not take more rounds in the series.

Yesterday the FURIA Academy gave themselves away after a successful game against tournament favorites mouz NXT, but today's game shows that it was a fleeting glory. However, tomorrow they will have one more chance to prove themselves in a rematch against the same mouz NXT, this game will clarify the strength of the Brazilians. BIG Academy 16:1 FURIA Academy.
