ECSTATIC and Team Finest advance to Pinnacle Cup IV quarter-finals

ECSTATIC and Team Finest made it to the quarterfinals of the Pinnacle Cup IV. According to the results of the first round of the playoffs of the tournament, the teams were stronger than Apeks (2:1) and Team Spirit (2:0), thus remaining in the race for $100,000.

The third match of the game day between Apeks and ECSTATIC started on the Nuke map. However, there were some overtimes here, which went in favor of the Apeks players, thus taking the lead in the series — 22:18. However, the Danes managed to give a decent response on the Ancient map, showing two confident halves to even the score in the series — 16:5. Everything was decided on the Dust 2 map, where Apeks led the score for some time. However, in the very end, ECSTATIC turned the tide of the match to get into the quarterfinals of Pinnacle Cup IV — 16:13.

The final confrontation between Team Finest and Team Spirit started on the Vertigo map. Here the Swedish team showed two good halves to upset the semi-finalist of the Major and take the lead in the series — 16:13. Next, the teams moved to the Ancient map, where the "dragons" were in the lead for a long time. However, in the very end, Team Finest managed to return to the game to bring the map to overtime, and then completely snatch victory in the series and reach the 1/4 finals of the tournament — 19:17.

Pinnacle Cup IV runs from April 25 to May 27 online. As part of the championship, 32 teams from all over the world are fighting for a prize pool of $100,000, of which $80,000 will go to the winner.
