Don't miss the start of Pinnacle Cup IV
/In a few hours Pinnacle Cup IV will start. Until May 27, teams from Europe and other countries will compete for a prize pool of $100,000. Pinnacle Cup IV Format
The event will take place in three stages:
- Play-in stage.
- The main Swiss stage.
- Playoffs.
As part of the first stage of the championship, the opening matches will be held in the BO1 format, while subsequent matches will be held in the BO3 format. The main Swiss round will take place entirely in BO3 format, as will the playoffs, which will take place from 25 to 27 May.
The winner of the championship will receive $80,000. As part of the first stage of the championship, 16 teams will compete for four tickets to the next stage of the Pinnacle Cup IV. These four teams will advance to the main Swiss round, where they will be joined by 12 other invited participants. Here, the teams will compete for eight tickets to the playoffs, where four more teams will be invited, starting from the quarter-final stage.
It is reported that the first two stages of Pinnacle Cup IV will last until May 6, and the championship playoffs will take place after the end of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 on May 25-27, when four teams will be directly invited to the quarterfinals.
