The first game day of the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage has ended, according to the results of which the teams G2 Esports, forZe, ENCE and Team Vitality got two wins each, thus becoming one step closer to reaching the next stage of the championship. At the same time, Renegades, IHC Esports, Team Liquid and 9z found themselves on the verge of elimination from PGL Major Antwerp 2022. First round of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage

The first round of the championship started with a crushing victory of Team Vitality over Complexity Gaming (16:1). In the parallel match, the Kosovar team managed to snatch a victory over Eternal Fire (16:14) on the Dust 2 map, thus continuing to surprise most of the esports community. In the next portion of the matches, there were no sensations, as G2 Esports and forZe confidently coped with Team Liquid (16:6) and Renegades (16:9), respectively, having obtained their first victories in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage.

There were no sensations after the equator of the first round, as the Danish team Astralis defeated IHC Esports (16:2). At the same time, Team Spirit demonstrated a confident victory over Imperial Esports (16:6), thus marking the beginning of a successful performance. At the very end of the first round of the competition, the teams Outsiders and ENCE outplayed MIBR (16:14) and 9z (16:7), thanks to which they got into the winners' basket.

Second round of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage

The second round of the championship began with a tense confrontation between G2 Esports and Team Spirit, as a result of which the wards of XTQZZZ managed to snatch victory in overtime (19:17). At the same time, the Turkish team Eternal Fire won the first victory in the championship, defeating Renegades (16:2) on the Vertigo map.

In the next portion of the matches, the Complexity team managed to save itself from failure by closing out the representatives of IHC Esports in a tense struggle (16:13). At the same time, the Russian team forZe got its second victory at the Major, this time beating Bad News Eagles (16:7) on the Inferno map.

Imperial Esports won its first championship victory, which unexpectedly outplayed Team Liquid (16:10). At the same time, ENCE once again established itself in the status of a favorite, beating Outsiders without a chance (16:6) on the Vertigo map. In the final portion of the matches, MIBR and Vitality were stronger than 9z (16:14) and Astralis (16:8), respectively.
