Don't miss the start of PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR

Today, April 15, PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR will start. Over the next two days, the best teams from Asia and Oceania will compete for a symbolic prize pool of $10,000, as well as two tickets to PGL Major Antwerp 2022. We invite you to get acquainted with the format, schedule, participants and distribution of the championship prize pool.

Format of PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR

The championship will be held in a lightweight format, offering participants a double elimination bracket. All championship matches will be played in BO3 format. The winners of the starting semi-finals will proceed to the upper bracket final, where they will compete for the first ticket to PGL Major Antwerp 2022. In turn, the losing teams will go to the first round of the lower bracket, where the winner will go to the final and play with the loser from the upper bracket.

The championship will feature four teams that have gone through the open qualifiers.

  • TYLOO - Chinese Qualifier.
  • Renegades - Oceanic Qualifier.
  • IHC Esports Asian Qualifier.
  • LookingForOrg - Middle Eastern Qualifier.

Note that the LookingForOrg team received an invitation to the RMR tournament, replacing Lynn Vision. The Chinese team faced visa difficulties, as a result of which they were forced to miss the championship.

Friday, April 15:

  • TYLOO - IHC Esports.
  • Renegades-LookingForOrg.
  • First round of the lower bracket.

Saturday, April 16:

  • Upper Bracket Final.
  • Lower Bracket Final.

Prize pool distribution for PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR

  • 1st place: $5,000 + PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Contenders Stage.
  • 2nd place: $2,500 + PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Contenders Stage.
  • 3rd place: $1,500
  • 4th place: $1,000.

PGL Major Antwerp 2022: Asia-Pacific RMR will take place from 15 to 16 April in Romania. The four best teams from Asia and Oceania will compete for a symbolic prize pool of $10,000, as well as two tickets to PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
