The quarter-finals of the ESL Challenger League Season 40: Europe have ended, following which sAw, Falcons, HEET and 1WIN made it to the 1/2 finals of the championship. In turn, the Entropiq, ECSTATIC, Wisła Kraków and Team Finest teams fell to the lower bracket, where they will get another chance to reach the grand final of the competition.

While HEET and 1WIN quite confidently outplayed Wisła Kraków (2:0) and Team Finest (2:0) respectively, SAW and Falcons got quite difficult wins over Entropiq (2:1) and ECSTATIC (2:1) respectively.

Now the teams SAW, Falcons, HEET and 1WIN will compete for two tickets to the final of the upper bracket, while the rest of the participants will fight for the right to stay at the ESL Challenger League Season 40: Europe.

ESL Challenger League Season 40: Europe runs from January 25 to April 3 online. Sixteen teams from Europe are competing for a prize pool of $50,000, as well as a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 16, which will go to the winner.
