K23 became the winner of Thunderpick Bitcoin Series 2022
3738The Thunderpick Bitcoin Series 2022 has come to an end. In the online championship, which took place from January 24 to March 29, 20 teams from Europe fought for a prize pool of $75,000. The winner of the tournament was the K23 team, which outplayed the Danes from ECSTATIC in the grand final with a score of 2:1 (Overpass - 16:4; Inferno - 13:16; Nuke - 16:10).
The tournament for the future winner started from the quarter-final stage, where K23 was invited by the organizers. Nevertheless, here the team confidently outplayed HEET (2:0) and Copenhagen Flames (2:1), making it to the grand final.

In the decisive match of the competition, the Russian team quickly took the lead in the series, defeating ECSTATIC at their own peak. Nevertheless, the Danes managed to return to the game on Inferno, pulling out a victory at the very end of the map. Yet on Nuke, K23's attack was impeccable, allowing the team to clinch a 2-1 victory and earn $40,000.
