Teams Players (Gambit), Movistar Riders and Team Liquid got their first wins at ESL Pro League Season 15. According to the results of the first round of the championship, the teams outplayed Party Astronauts, GODSENT and BIG, respectively, thus becoming leaders of the tournament table. We propose to sum up the results of the three starting matches in Group C.

Players (Gambit)

The first meeting of the gaming day started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the North American team. However, Players immediately seized the initiative on the server, without actually feeling the resistance of the "owners". Well, after the change of sides, the Russian team did not allow Party Astronauts to take more than a single round, thus gaining leadership in the series - 16:4.

Next, the teams moved to the Ancient map, where the Players continued to stick to their line. As a result, the Russian team had a confident half in the attack, having managed to get a two-fold advantage in the score. After switching sides, Players again continued to put pressure on the opponent, once again not allowing them to open up. As a result, the Russian team confidently closed their own pick and got their first victory at ESL Pro League Season 15 — 16:6.

GODSENT - Movistar Riders

The next game started on the Nuke map, which was chosen by the representatives of the Spanish team. At the same time, Movistar Riders showed a confident attack, gaining a comfortable advantage before switching sides. In the second half, the Spaniards completely closed the opponent, not allowing him to take a single round. As a result, Movistar Riders confidently closed Nuke and took the lead in the series — 16:6.

Next, the teams moved to the map Ancient, which became the choice of the Brazilian team. Here, GODSENT already had an overwhelming advantage, having gathered confidently in the second half. As a result, the Brazilians showed a convincing defense, thereby putting the opponent on the shoulder blades and equalizing the score in the series - 16:11.

Everything was decided on the Mirage map, where the Spaniards had a confident half in defense, gaining a twofold advantage in the score. After the change of sides, the Brazilians tried to get closer, reviving the intrigue. However, in the end, Movistar Riders managed to win the economic struggle, thus obtaining the first victory in the championship - 16:12.

Team Liquid - BIG

The final meeting started on the Dust 2 map, which became the choice of BIG. However, the North American team managed to surprise the hosts by getting back into the game and pulling out the first half in their favor. After the switch of sides, Team Liquid showed a confident start at all, thus resolving all the issues and winning at the opponent's peak — 16:11.

Then the teams moved to the Mirage map, where the North American team started rather cautiously, gaining only a minimal advantage in the score. However, in the second half, Team Liquid got down to business to crush BIG and get the first victory in the ESL Pro League Season 15 — 16:12.
