Tournament operator BLAST has presented the list of invited teams for the upcoming BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2022. Heroic, GODSENT and FURIA teams got tickets to the championship among many other contenders.

Initially, the organizers allocated only two invitations to BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2022. However, at the end of last month, BLAST announced the cancellation of WePlay CIS Masters: Spring 2022, and also banned teams from Russia from participating in their championships. In this regard, the organizers have increased the number of invited teams, thereby maintaining the same number of participants in the tournament.

The current roster of BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2022 is as follows: MIBR, Astralis, Complexity, Ninjas in Pajamas, Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, Heroic, GODSENT and FURIA.

In addition, the remaining seven teams will be determined based on the results of the regional qualifiers, which will be held in Eastern and Western Europe, Scandinavia, Iberia, South and North America, as well as in Central Asia. It is expected that the full list of participants in BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2022 will be formed at the end of March.
