The teams NaVi and FaZe Clan outplayed FURIA (2:0) and fnatic (2:1), respectively, thanks to which they reached the playoffs of IEM Katowice 2022. Now the teams will meet in the group stage finals, playing a direct ticket to the semi-finals of the competition. At the same time, FURIA and fnatic fell into the lower bracket of the tournament, where they will play with G2 and Astralis, respectively.

After the change of sides, it was not difficult for the team to get the necessary rounds to get the second victory in the championship — 16:12.
FaZe Clan-fnatic
The parallel meeting started on the Overpass map, which became the choice of fnatic. However, FaZe Clan players showed a confident start in defense, gaining a twofold advantage before switching sides. Well, in the second half, the hosts failed to impose a fight, allowing FaZe Clan to take the lead in the series — 16:5.
The teams then moved on to the Inferno map, where fnatic showed a solid defense play, finishing the half with a comfortable lead. At the same time, after switching sides, the Swedish-British team managed to hold back the onslaught of FaZe Clan, thus equalizing the score in the series — 16:10.
Everything was decided on the Mirage map, on which FaZe Clan immediately began to impose the initiative, gradually running ahead. Still, fnatic managed to close the gap a bit, gaining six rounds at the end of the half. After the side switch, the Swedish-British team failed to return to the game, allowing FaZe Clan to get a ticket to the playoffs of IEM Katowice 2022 — 16:9.
