The BIG Academy and mouz NXT teams got their first wins at the WePlay Academy League Season 3 Finals. Now the clubs will meet in the final of the upper bracket, playing a ticket to the grand final of the tournament.

BIG Academy — Spirit Academy

The first semi-final of the gaming day started on the Dust 2 map, which became the choice of the CIS team. At the same time, the map passed in a stubborn struggle, from which the Spirit Academy team emerged victorious, showing a little more confidence in the end — 16:13.

Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which became the choice of BIG Academy. At the same time, the German team showed an extremely confident start, having actually resolved all issues before the change of sides. In the second half, the hosts continued to stick to their line, confidently leveling the score in the series — 16:4.

Everything was decided on the Vertigo map, where BIG Academy immediately seized the initiative, finishing the defensive half with a twofold advantage over the opponent. After the side switch, the German team continued to show their confidence, while the Spirit Academy failed to adapt to the rhythm. As a result, BIG Academy confidently closed the second half and won the first victory in the championship — 16:8.

MOUZ NXT - Astralis Talent

The second semi-final started on the Nuke map, which became the choice of the Danish team. At the same time, the “hosts” showed an extremely convincing half in the attack, finishing the side with a score of 11:4. After switching sides, MOUZ NXT began to bounce back. However, Astralis Talent managed to keep the advantage and at the same time take the lead in the series — 16:13.

Next, the teams moved to the Mirage map, which turned out to be the choice of MOUZ NXT. However, the team failed to prove itself in the attack, finishing the half with a minimum gap. And yet, after switching sides, MOUZ NXT managed to neutralize the bad game in the attack, quickly dotting all the "i", and at the same time equalizing the score in the series - 16:12.

Everything was decided on the Vertigo map, which again took place in an equal fight. Nevertheless, in the end, MOUZ NXT managed to collect their thoughts to cope with the attack of the Danes, and then snatch the victory — 16:12.
